Great Punchers Glove For The Price

I have 2 pairs of these gloves. The first pair is 14oz in maroon. When I got them, the inside liner in the left glove ripped within 3 days (90 minutes of work). I was pretty bummed out because these gloves were so hyped up. I also noticed that the gloves had a lot of room in the hand compartment. They didn't feel very snug.

I ended up taking a chance and buying a second pair in 16oz. The 16oz ones may have been from a newer batch - the hand compartment is snug (perfect!), and the wrist support feels a lot better/more secure. I also noticed the thumb feels a bit different on the 16oz (more comfortable), and the finger compartment of the glove is a lot more snug. Also, the leather feels a lot better compared to my 14's.

Regardless of my experience with the first pair, the padding in both gloves is great. Very responsive. I'm not sure if it's a latex blend (maybe someone from Wicked can confirm?) but it's very "spongy" and provides great feedback.

If you're looking for a puncher's glove and don't want to shell out $250+, these gloves are perfect for you. The quality-to-price ratio is seriously impressive.

I use the 805 Grande primarily for bag work, and they’ve held up incredibly well. The padding protects my knuckles without feeling bulky. Easily the best investment I’ve made for my training.

These gloves are a sparring essential. Great wrist support, solid protection, and they don’t feel overly heavy. My coach noticed the quality right away—definitely a step up from what I was using before.
